The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has officially released the NEET UG 2025 counselling schedule. Candidates who qualified in the NEET UG 2025 exam, held in May, will be able to register for Round 1 of counselling starting July 21, 2025 through the official website — mcc.nic.in. The NEET UG results were declared on June 14.
As per the MCC notification, the counselling process for admission to MBBS, BDS, and BSc Nursing programmes will be conducted in four rounds, including a mop-up and a stray vacancy round, for seats under the 15% All India Quota (AIQ) and 100% seats in central and deemed universities such as AIIMS, JIPMER, BHU, AMU, and ESIC institutions.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE FOR NEET UG 2025 COUNSELLING?
Only candidates who have qualified NEET UG 2025 are eligible to participate. The counselling covers:
- 15% AIQ seats across government medical colleges
- 100% seats in AIIMS, JIPMER, BHU, AMU, and ESIC institutions
- Institutional quota seats handled via MCC
- AFMC and ESIC IP quota
- Central and Deemed University seats

- Click on the “UG Medical Counselling” section
- Log in using NEET UG 2025 credentials
- Fill out the application form and make the fee payment
- Upload required documents (NEET scorecard, ID proof, category certificate, etc.)
- Select and lock your preferred courses and colleges
- Download the confirmation page for records.
IMPORTANT ADVISORY FOR INSTITUTES
To streamline the counselling process within the scheduled timeline, MCC has directed all participating colleges and universities to treat Saturdays, Sundays, and Gazetted holidays as working days during this period.
