BSF Head Constable Recruitment 2025 – Apply Online for 1121 RO & RM Posts
The Border Security Force (BSF) has announced the recruitment of 1,121 Head Constables in the communication wing, including Radio Operator (RO) and Radio Mechanic (RM) posts. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online through the official BSF recruitment portal from 24 August 2025 to 23 September 2025.

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Candidates must have:
- Passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, securing at least 60% aggregate marks, OR
- Passed Class 10 with a two-year ITI certificate in relevant trades such as Radio & TV, Electronics, COPA, Data Entry Operator, Electrician, Fitter, Mechatronics, Network Technician, Communication Equipment Maintenance, etc.
Age Limit (as on closing date of application)
- General: 18–25 years
- OBC: up to 28 years
- SC/ST: up to 30 years
Physical Standards
- Male: Height 168 cm; Chest 80–85 cm (minimum 5 cm expansion)
- Female: Height 157 cm
Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
- Male: 1.6 km run in 6 min 30 sec, Long Jump 11 ft, High Jump 3.5–3.6 ft
- Female: 800 m run in 4 min, Long Jump 9 ft, High Jump ~3 ft
