J&K Bank Recruitment 2025: Apply for Zonal Security Officer Posts on Contract Basis

Jammu and Kashmir Bank (J&K Bank) has invited applications from eligible candidates for the recruitment of Zonal Security Officers (on contract basis). The bank has released an official notification announcing two vacancies for this post at its Zonal Office Doda and Zonal Office Rajouri.

Vacancy Details

1. Post Name: Zonal Security Officer
2. Number of Vacancies: 02 (One each at Zonal Office Doda & Rajouri)

Eligibility Criteria

1. Qualification: Graduate in any discipline, preferably from a recognized university.
2. Experience: Candidate must have served in the rank of DSP (Deputy Superintendent of Police) or equivalent in Police/Army/Paramilitary forces with an excellent service record. Minimum of 3 years of experience as Deputy Superintendent of Police or equivalent is required.
3. Age Limit: Maximum 62 years as on 01.01.2025.

Job Responsibilities

• Overall implementation and periodic review of the Security Policy.
• Planning and execution of security at bank premises as per guidelines of Government of India, RBI, and Indian Banks Association.
• Maintaining efficiency, training, and discipline of security staff.
• Liaison with Police, Fire Services, local authorities, and state/central government departments for coordination.
• Providing professional inputs to the Central Security Department.
• Handling any other security-related tasks assigned by the Bank.

Salary

• Rs. 45,000/- per month (fixed).
• TA/DA admissible for official tours/visits.

Contract Tenure

• Appointment will be purely on a contractual basis for three years, subject to annual performance review.
• No renewal of engagement after completion of three years.

Selection Process

• Shortlisting of candidates will be done based on qualification, experience, and suitability.
• Shortlisted candidates will be called for Interview/Interaction to assess knowledge, experience, and skills.
