Exams of Kashmir University, Cluster University, and IUST Postponed Amid Weather Concerns
Srinagar, Sep 3: Amid the prevailing inclement weather conditions, several universities in Jammu and Kashmir have postponed their scheduled examinations of September 4, 2025.
The Controller of Examinations at Kashmir University in an official notification said,
“In view of the inclement weather conditions, all University examinations scheduled to be held on 04.09.2025 stand postponed. Fresh dates for the conduct of postponed papers shall be notified separately.”
Similarly, the Cluster University Srinagar issued a statement, reading,
“In view of inclement weather conditions, all the examinations of Cluster University Srinagar scheduled on 04-09-2025 are hereby postponed. Fresh dates for postponed papers shall be notified separately.”
The Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST), Kashmir also released a notification from the Office of the Controller of Examinations, which stated:
“In view of the inclement weather condition, it is notified for the information of all the eligible scholars/students that all the examinations scheduled for 04-09-2025 stand postponed, the fresh dates shall be notified separately.”
Authorities from all three universities confirmed that revised examination schedules will be announced soon once the weather situation improves.
