Srinagar, March 3: The Meteorological Centre Srinagar (MET SRN) has issued a detailed weather forecast for Jammu & Kashmir, indicating partly cloudy to generally cloudy conditions over the next two weeks, with intermittent light rain and snow expected in higher reaches.

Weather is expected to remain partly cloudy, with a brief spell of light snowfall over isolated higher reaches on March 4.
March 7–9
The region is likely to experience generally cloudy conditions, with light rain in plains and light snow over higher reaches at isolated to scattered places.
March 10–11
Skies will remain partly to generally cloudy, with light rain and snowfall in higher reaches at scattered locations.
March 12–14
Weather conditions are expected to remain generally dry across most parts of the Union Territory.
March 15–16
The forecast indicates a return to generally cloudy skies.
Advisory Issued
The Meteorological Department has issued the following advisory:
- Farmers are advised to continue farm operations as per schedule.
- A further rise in daytime temperatures by 1–2°C at most places is likely to continue over the next four days.
- Thereafter, a fall of 2–4°C in day temperatures is expected at many places.
Residents, especially those in higher altitude areas, are advised to stay updated with official weather bulletins and plan travel accordingly.
