Srinagar, Mar 8: The Jammu and Kashmir government has decided to reopen all educational institutions across the Kashmir tomorrow i.e; from Monday, Education Minister Sakina Itoo said on Sunday.
As per news agency Kashmir News Corner (KNC), Minister Itoo said that the decision was taken after reviewing the ground situation. “After taking stock of the situation, we have decided to reopen schools, colleges and universities in all districts of Kashmir from Monday,” she said.
The institutions were closed last week as a precautionary measure amid protests reported in parts of Jammu and Kashmir following recent developments in the Middle East.
Meanwhile, schools up to Class 8 will also reopen after the winter vacation of more than two months, while classes from 9th to 12th had already resumed academic activities on February 23 in the Kashmir division and winter zones of Jammu. (KNC)
