Srinagar, March 21:
The weather across Jammu & Kashmir has shown a significant improvement from today, bringing relief after recent wet conditions. According to the MET Centre Srinagar, most places in the Union Territory are expected to witness a stable and mostly dry weather pattern over the coming days.

Current Weather Situation

As anticipated, weather conditions have improved across the region starting March 21. Skies are clearing gradually, and temperatures are expected to rise during the daytime.

Weather Forecast

  • March 21–22:
    Partly cloudy skies with mainly dry weather across most areas.
  • March 23:
    Generally cloudy conditions with brief spells of rain/snow at a few places.
  • March 25–28:
    Mostly dry weather expected, though higher reaches may receive light rain or snowfall at isolated locations.
  • March 29–31:
    A fresh spell of light rain/snow is likely to affect many parts of Jammu & Kashmir.

Advisory Issued by MET Centre Srinagar

Temperature Rise:
Day temperatures are expected to increase from March 21 onwards, leading to relatively warmer conditions during daytime.

Farmers Advisory:
Farmers are advised to resume agricultural activities from March 21, as weather conditions turn favorable for farming operations.

The upcoming days bring a welcome break from persistent wet weather, allowing normal life and farming activities to resume. However, residents should remain aware of occasional weather disturbances expected towards the end of March.
