RRB technician recruitment 2026: The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have released notification for technician recruitment 2026 with 6,565 Grade I and III posts.
Interested and eligible candidates can apply for this job through the official RRB application portal.
The recruitment notification has been released on through Centralised Employment Notification (CEN) No. 02/2026 under the Ministry of Railways.
The application form window will be open for one month from today. It will close on July 29.
Recruitment vacancies:
- 323 vacancies are for Technician Grade I Signal.
- 6,242 vacancies are for Technician Grade III.
Important dates:
- Application form starting date: June 30
- Application form ending date: July 29
Eligibility criteria:
- Technician Grade I Signal: Candidates applying for this post must have a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree or a Diploma in the relevant field.
- Technician Grade III: Candidates applying for this post must have passed Class 10 along with an Industrial Training Institute (ITI) certificate in the required trade.
- Candidates from reserved categories will get age relaxation as per government rules.
- Age for Technician Grade I Signal: 18 to 33 years
- Age for Technician Grade III: 18 to 30 years
Application fee:
- General, OBC, EWS categories: Rs 500
- SC, ST, PWD categories: Rs 250
- The application fees have to be paid after completing the application form through the official portal.
Selection Process:
- Computer Based Test (CBT)
- Document Verification
- Medical Examination
- Candidates who pass each stage will be considered for final selection based on Railway Recruitment Board rules.
