The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has extended the last date for submitting Inter-School Migration applications for students of Class 10 and Class 12 appearing in the Annual Regular Session (October–November) 2026.
According to an extension notification issued by the Registration Section, JKBOSE, the decision applies to eligible on-roll candidates of the Kashmir Division, including District Kargil (UT of Ladakh), who wish to migrate from one recognized institution to another.

Students can submit their migration applications through the official JKBOSE website.
Who Can Apply?
The extension is applicable to on-roll students of Classes 10 and 12 seeking:
- Migration within the same district,
- Inter-district migration, or
- Division-to-division migration,
for the Annual Regular (October–November) 2026 Examination.
Important Note
JKBOSE has clarified that all other terms and conditions mentioned in the original notification dated March 27, 2026, will remain unchanged.
Students are advised to complete the application process before the July 8, 2026 deadline to avoid missing the opportunity.
