The National Testing Agency (NTA) has activated the Scanned OMR Answer Sheets and Recorded Responses for candidates who appeared in the NEET UG 2026 re-examination. Candidates can now log in to the official NEET portal to verify their responses and raise objections if they find any discrepancy in the recorded answers.

The facility is available for a limited period, and candidates are advised to review their OMR sheets carefully before the deadline.

What Has NTA Released?

NTA has made the following available on the official NEET UG 2026 portal:

  • Scanned image of the candidate’s OMR answer sheet
  • Recorded responses captured by the scanner
  • Online facility to challenge recorded responses (if required)

This allows candidates to compare the answers they marked during the examination with the responses recorded by the NTA scanning system.

NEET UG 2026 OMR Challenge Dates

Candidates can submit challenges within the following schedule:

  • Challenge Window Opens: 13 July 2026
  • Last Date: 15 July 2026
  • Closing Time: 11:00 AM

No challenges will be accepted after the deadline.

Challenge Fee

Candidates must pay:

  • ₹200 per challenged response

The fee can be paid online using:

  • Net Banking
  • Debit/Credit Card
  • UPI

If NTA accepts the challenge after verification, the ₹200 fee for that response will be refunded.

How to Check NEET UG 2026 OMR Sheet

Candidates can follow these steps:

  1. Visit the official NEET website.
  2. Log in using your Application Number and Password.
  3. Complete the OTP verification process.
  4. Click on “View/Challenge OMR Sheet & Recorded Responses.”
  5. Compare your marked answers with the scanned OMR image and recorded responses.
  6. If you notice any mismatch, select the concerned question and choose your claimed response.
  7. Pay the prescribed challenge fee.
  8. Submit the challenge and download the acknowledgement receipt for future reference.

Important Points

  • Only Recorded Responses/OMR entries can be challenged at this stage.
  • The Answer Key challenge window has already closed.
  • Candidates should ensure they review every response carefully before submitting any challenge.
  • Once the challenge window closes, no further requests will be entertained.
