Monsoon Activity to Intensify Across J&K During 19–23 July ⚠️
A strong monsoon spell is expected to impact Jammu & Kashmir from 19 to 23 July, bringing widespread moderate to heavy rainfall, with chances of very heavy showers at some places.
As per the latest indications, the most active phase is likely on 21–22 July, when heavy to very heavy rainfall is possible over Jammu region, Pir Panjal belt, and higher reaches of South Kashmir.
Periods of intense rainfall may trigger flash floods, waterlogging in vulnerable low-lying areas, and isolated cloudburst-like events cannot be ruled out. More updates regarding this weather system will be shared in the coming days.
