The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE) has issued a fresh notification granting one final opportunity to eligible candidates from the Union Territories of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh who appeared in the NEET UG 2026 examination conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) to submit their required documents.
The notification, issued as Notification No. 135-BOPEE of 2026, is dated August 5, 2026, and follows the Board’s earlier Notification No. 127-BOPEE of 2026 dated July 30, 2026, and Notification No. 132-BOPEE of 2026 dated August 4, 2026.
Final Chance for Eligible Candidates
According to the notification, JKBOPEE stated that it had received various representations from candidates belonging to the Union Territories of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh regarding their inability to submit the required documents within the prescribed deadline.
Keeping these representations in view, the Board has decided to provide a final opportunity to candidates who qualified the NEET UG 2026 examination but whose roll numbers did not appear in the annexures issued with the earlier notifications, despite actually belonging to the Union Territories of Jammu & Kashmir or Ladakh.
The Board clarified that such candidates may now submit the required documents before the revised deadline.
Documents Required
Eligible candidates are required to submit the following relevant documents:
- Domicile Certificate
- NEET UG 2026 Scorecard
- Other relevant documents, wherever applicable
The documents may be submitted either personally by the candidate or through an authorised representative.
Submission Deadline
JKBOPEE has fixed August 6, 2026, as the last date for document submission.
Candidates must ensure that their documents reach the BOPEE Offices at Jammu or Srinagar on or before 4:00 PM on the specified date.
The Board has described this as the final opportunity for eligible candidates covered under the notification.
Separate Notification for Online Registration
The notification further states that a separate notification regarding the online registration of eligible candidates will be issued independently.
Candidates have been advised to remain in regular contact with the official JKBOPEE website for further updates related to the registration process.
In addition, applicants are advised to keep all the required documents ready so that they can complete the online registration process whenever they are asked to do so.
