The Jammu & Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has issued a notification regarding the schedule for submission of online examination forms for the Secondary School Examination (Class 10th) Annual/Regular 2026 for the October-November session.
The schedule applies to eligible Class 10 students enrolled in affiliated academic institutions of J&KBOSE in Kashmir Division and the erstwhile District Kargil of the Union Territory of Ladakh.
According to the notification issued by the JKBOSE Bemina Campus, Srinagar, eligible candidates are required to submit their examination forms through the online mode on the official JKBOSE website.
JKBOSE Class 10 Exam Forms 2026: Important Dates
The online submission process for Class 10 Annual/Regular 2026 examination forms with the normal fee will begin on August 17, 2026.
Students will be able to submit their examination forms under the normal fee category until September 5, 2026.
The schedule has been issued for candidates who are currently on the rolls of Class 10 in affiliated academic institutions of J&KBOSE and are eligible to appear in the Annual/Regular 2026 October-November session.
The examination forms are to be submitted online through the JKBOSE website as per the schedule prescribed in the notification.
Examination Form Fees
Under the normal fee category, candidates appearing with five compulsory subjects are required to pay Rs. 1,300 as the examination fee per candidate.
Candidates who have an additional or optional subject, taking the total to 5+ subjects, will have to pay Rs. 1,535.
The normal-fee submission window will remain open from August 17 to September 5, 2026.
Students and institutions are required to ensure that the examination forms are submitted within the specified period to avoid the applicable late fee.
Late Fee Schedule for Class 10 Examination Forms
JKBOSE has also prescribed two separate late-fee counts for candidates who do not submit their forms during the normal-fee period.
The first late-fee count will open on September 6, 2026, with the last date for submission fixed as September 10, 2026.
For candidates with five subjects only, the late fee under the first count is Rs. 850 + Rs. 1,300, taking the total fee to Rs. 2,150.
For candidates with 5+ subjects, the applicable fee under the first late-fee count is Rs. 850 + Rs. 1,535, resulting in a total fee of Rs. 2,385.
Second Late-Fee Count
The second late-fee count will begin on September 11, 2026, and the last date for submission under this category is September 14, 2026.
For candidates appearing with five subjects only, the fee under the second count is Rs. 2,190 + Rs. 1,300, with the total amount fixed at Rs. 3,490.
Candidates with 5+ subjects will be required to pay Rs. 2,190 + Rs. 1,535, making the total fee Rs. 3,725.
Students should therefore take note of the normal-fee deadline as well as both late-fee windows while completing their examination form submission.
Who Can Submit the Forms?
The notification states that the schedule is applicable to candidates who are currently enrolled in Class 10 in affiliated academic institutions of J&KBOSE and are eligible to appear in the Annual/Regular 2026 October-November session.
The notification specifically covers students in Kashmir Division and the erstwhile District Kargil of UT of Ladakh.
Eligible candidates are required to complete the examination form submission through the online mode on the JKBOSE website according to the prescribed dates.
Instructions for Affiliated Institutions
JKBOSE has also issued instructions for affiliated academic institutions following completion of the online examination form submission process.
After the online service is completed, institutions are required to generate the Checklist through their respective School Login accounts.
The checklist must then be submitted to the concerned Sub/Branch office. It is required to be duly signed and stamped by the Head of the Institution.
The notification states that the checklist should be submitted within ten days positively after completion of the online service.
JKBOSE Class 10 Exam Form 2026: Key Fee Details
For quick reference, candidates appearing with five compulsory subjects will pay Rs. 1,300 under the normal-fee category.
Those with additional or optional subjects, making the total 5+ subjects, will pay Rs. 1,535.
Under the first late-fee count, the total fee will be Rs. 2,150 for five subjects and Rs. 2,385 for 5+ subjects.
Under the second late-fee count, the total fee will increase to Rs. 3,490 for five subjects and Rs. 3,725 for 5+ subjects.
Candidates are advised to follow the prescribed schedule and complete the online submission process within the applicable deadline.
