Light Rain, Thundershowers Expected At Isolated To Scattered Places; Farmers Advised To Continue Harvesting
Srinagar, Sept 11: The Meteorological department Srinagar, on Friday said Jammu and Kashmir is likely to witness generally dry weather over the coming days, with brief spells of rain or thundershowers expected at isolated to scattered places.
Director Meteorological Centre Srinagar, Dr Mukhtar Ahmad, as per news agency JKNS, said the weather is expected to remain generally dry from September 11 to 13, with a brief spell of rain at isolated places.
From September 14 to 16, brief spells of rain or thundershowers are likely at scattered places, particularly during early morning and afternoon hours, he said.
From September 17 to 21, generally dry weather is expected, with brief spells of rain possible at isolated places.
Dr Mukhtar Ahmad advised farmers to continue harvesting apple and paddy crops along with other agricultural activities.(JKNS)
