Traffic Advisory Issued by J&K Traffic Police for June 23, 2025: Movement Regulated on NH-44, Mughal Road, SSG Road & Sinthan Route
Jammu/Srinagar, June 22: The Traffic Police Headquarters, J&K, has issued a comprehensive traffic plan and advisory for June 23, 2025, detailing vehicle movement across major highways including Jammu-Srinagar NHW (NH-44), Mughal Road, SSG Road, and the Kishtwar-Sinthan-Anantnag route.
Current Road Conditions (June 21-22, 2025)
Traffic movement on NH-44 was slow due to the breakdown of two Heavy Motor Vehicles (HMVs), single lane stretches at Dalwas, Peeda, Mehad, and ongoing four-lane construction between Marog and Kishtwari Pather. Traffic was managed in a regulated manner at Mehad, Cafeteria, and Ramban due to a 150-200 meter single-lane patch.
Commuters are urged to maintain lane discipline, avoid overtaking, and refrain from unnecessary stoppages, especially in shooting stone-prone areas like Ramban-Banihal. Operators of goods carriers are advised to load vehicles as per traffic advisories and ensure proper vehicle fitness and sufficient fuel.
