The Central University of Kashmir (CUK) has invited online applications from working professionals and in-service candidates for admission to its Two-Year Master of Education (M.Ed.) Programme under New-Normal/Blended Mode for the Academic Session 2026-2027.
According to the admission notification, candidates who have completed B.Ed. from a recognized university with at least 50% marks are eligible to apply. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)/PwD categories require a minimum of 45% marks.

Mode of Instruction
The M.Ed. programme will be offered through Blended Pedagogy, making it suitable for working professionals and in-service candidates.

Work Experience Requirement
Applicants must have at least one year of full-time work experience, supported by documentary proof such as appointment letters, salary slips, or an employer’s certificate. Candidates selected for admission will also be required to submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their employer.
Selection Process
Admission will be based on merit with the following weightage:
- 75% weightage for qualifying examination (graduation) marks.
- 25% weightage for work experience, with 5 marks awarded for each completed year of experience.
Reservation Policy
Reservation will be applicable as per the Government of India norms. Candidates claiming reservation must produce the original category certificate at the time of admission.
