The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research – University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (CSIR-UGC NET) is a national-level exam conducted to determine the eligibility of Indian nationals for the award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and for appointment as Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in Indian universities and colleges. The exam is conducted in five core science subjects:

The provisional answer key was released on July 5, allowing candidates to submit objections and challenge discrepancies until July 7, 2025. The NTA charged ₹200 per question for raising objections.

Once the objection window closed, a panel of subject experts evaluated the challenges. After detailed scrutiny, the final answer key was prepared and published on August 2.
