Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must be domiciles of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir and possess the required academic/professional qualifications. Eligibility is as per the Teachers Eligibility Qualifications in Medical Institutions Regulations, 2022.
Application Process
- Fill the online application form at www.gmcs.ac.in from 24th June to 7th July 2025.
- Upload scanned original documents including recent passport-size photograph and signature.
- Submit the application fee of ₹500 via online mode.

- MBBS and MD/MS/DNB marks certificates
- Degree and registration certificates
- Date of Birth and Domicile certificate
- No Objection Certificate (for in-service candidates)
- Affidavit for fresh applications or re-application clarification
Selection Procedure
- Selection will be based on academic merit and relevant experience.
- In-service doctors must submit an NOC from their parent department.
- Non-in-service doctors shall be paid a stipend as per S.O. 364 of 2020.
Terms of Engagement
- Engagement is for one year and may be extended up to three years based on performance and HOD certification.
- Termination can occur earlier with prior notice.
