The Centre is considering using the Indian Air Force (IAF) to transport NEET-UG re-test question papers. These steps come as part of tighter security arrangements ahead of the June 21 exam. After the NEET-UG exam paper leak, several concerns were raised, due to which this step has been considered.
Top sources in the Ministry of Defence confirmed that a high-level meeting took place at the residence of Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, attended by Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and Communications Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia.
Well, the officers from the Indian Air Force were also present during the discussions.
The NEET-UG restest will be taking place on June 21, 2026. The Centre is adopting a “whole-of-government” approach to prevent paper leaks. The CBI has also arrested multiple accused in connection with the paper leak.
