Dry Spell To Continue In J&K Till Oct 4, Brief Rain & Light Snow Over Higher Reaches Likely On Sep 24 & 27/28: MeT
Srinagar, Sep 21: The Meteorological department on Sunday forecast generally dry weather across Jammu and Kashmir till October 4.
An official of MeT told GNS that feeble Western Disturbances are likely to affect J&K on September 24 and 27.
“A brief spell of rain and light snow over higher reaches at few places is likely during September 24 and September 27/28 towards evening,” MeT said.
The department further said that the prevailing weather conditions are ideal for harvesting and advised farmers to ensure safe storage of produce during September 27/28.(GNS)
