Many government departments and public sector units regularly recruit ITI-qualified candidates.

Skill Development in Jammu & Kashmir

The J&K administration has been actively promoting vocational education and technical training to empower youth. The expansion of ITI admissions and awareness campaigns is part of a broader strategy to enhance employability and create skilled manpower in the Union Territory.

Experts believe that skill development initiatives can play a major role in reducing unemployment and encouraging entrepreneurship among young people.
