JKBOPEE Announces 2nd Round of NEET MDS 2025 Physical Counselling for EWS Category

The J&K Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE) has issued Notification No. 082-BOPEE of 2025, announcing the conduct of the 2nd round of physical counselling for admission to NEET MDS-2025 in various Government Dental Colleges/Institutions of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.

As per the official notification, the Board did not receive any shortfall from any Government Dental Colleges of UT J&K after the 1st round of online counselling. However, two seats under the EWS category — one in the Department of Periodontology and one in Oral Medicine Radiology at Govt. Dental College Srinagar — remain unfilled. To fill these vacant seats, BOPEE will hold a 2nd round of Physical (Upgradation/Allotment) Counselling exclusively for candidates belonging to the EWS category.

Counselling Schedule:

• Date: 28th July 2025 (Monday)
• Rank: 001 – 079
• Eligibility: Only EWS Category Candidates

Procedure and Important Points:

• Eligible and willing candidates must report to BOPEE offices in Jammu or Srinagar for Registration/Attendance and to complete other formalities between 9:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. on the counselling day.
• Only EWS category candidates are eligible to participate in this round.
• Candidates appearing for the first time must deposit a counselling fee of ₹2000/- through the POS machine at BOPEE offices in Jammu/Srinagar.
• EWS category candidates who were allotted seats in the first round and have already joined the college/institute may also participate in this round for upgradation.
• Candidates who paid the counselling fee during the first round are not required to pay any additional fee.
• The Seat Matrix for these vacant seats will be available on the official BOPEE website (www.jkbopee.gov.in) one day before the counselling.

Candidates should note that simply filling out preferences does not guarantee admission. Admission will only be confirmed once the candidates’ eligibility is verified by the respective colleges/institutions and they are provisionally selected.
