JKBOPEE Releases Provisional Merit List for NEET-UG 2025 Candidates from J&K and Ladakh – Invites Objections Till August 4
The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE) has officially released the Provisional Merit List (PML) of NEET-UG 2025 candidates belonging to the Union Territories of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh. This list includes candidates who appeared in NEET-UG 2025 and have registered online with JKBOPEE under the UT quota.
This significant announcement follows a series of prior notifications and notices, including Notification Nos. 073-BOPEE and 076-BOPEE of 2025, and pertains to the roll number-wise list received from the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India.

📌 Who is Included in the PML?
The list includes:
- Candidates who appeared in NEET-UG 2025 and applied under the UT quota of J&K/Ladakh.
- Candidates whose roll numbers were missing in earlier notifications and later submitted the required documents for inclusion.
- Students who applied under the Sports Category via the J&K Sports Council have also been included in a rank-wise list appended as Annexure-B.

From 18-07-2025 to 22-07-2025 and 29-07-2025 to 30-07-2025 - Deadline to submit objections against the PML:
By or before 04-08-2025 (till 2:00 PM) at BOPEE offices in Jammu/Srinagar
📝 Objections and Representations:
Candidates are allowed to submit objections if they wish to contest their position in the PML or identify errors. However:
- All objections must be submitted in person; emails or WhatsApp submissions will not be entertained.
- If no representation is received by the deadline, the merit list will be considered final.
⚠️ Special Cases and Clarifications:
- Candidates with incomplete documents but who made online registrations have been conditionally included in the PML. They must submit the deficient documents physically by August 4, 2025 to participate in counseling.
- A case related to EWS category (Manhsa Iqbal Kelam vs UT of J&K) is under judicial consideration. Her eligibility under EWS will depend on the court’s final verdict.
- The Sports Category merit list only determines eligibility, not final seat allotment. Actual seat allocation will depend on combined merit (60% NEET score + 40% sports points).

- Falsification or incorrect information in documents will render candidates ineligible and could lead to cancellation of admission ab initio.
- Candidates must thoroughly verify their details and ensure accurate information submission to avoid disqualification.
