The Jammu & Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has issued the schedule for submission of online examination forms and Renewal Registration Returns for Higher Secondary Part-I (Class 11) Annual/Regular 2026 for the October-November session.
The notification applies to eligible Class 11 students studying in affiliated academic institutions of JKBOSE in Kashmir Division, Kargil district and the Union Territory of Ladakh. As per the notification, candidates currently enrolled in Class 11 and eligible to appear in the Annual/Regular 2026 examination are required to submit their examination forms and Renewal Registration Returns through the online mode on the JKBOSE website.
JKBOSE Class 11 Exam Form Submission Dates
The online submission process with the normal fee will begin on August 17, 2026, while the last date for submission under the normal-fee window is September 5, 2026.
Candidates are therefore required to ensure that their examination forms and applicable Renewal Registration Returns are completed within the notified period. The schedule has been issued specifically for Higher Secondary Part-I (Class 11) Annual/Regular 2026 for the October-November session.
For candidates appearing with five compulsory subjects, the examination fee is Rs. 1,510, along with a Renewal Registration Fee of Rs. 240, taking the total amount payable to Rs. 1,750.
For candidates opting for five or more subjects, the examination fee is Rs. 1,775, in addition to the Rs. 240 Renewal Registration Fee. The total fee in this category is Rs. 2,015.
Late Fee Submission Schedule
JKBOSE has also notified two separate windows for candidates who fail to submit their examination forms during the normal-fee period.
The first late-fee count will open on September 6, 2026 and remain available until September 10, 2026.
During this period, candidates with five subjects will have to pay a total of Rs. 2,600. The notified late-fee calculation is Rs. 850 plus the examination fee of Rs. 1,510 and the Renewal Registration Fee of Rs. 240.
For candidates with five or more subjects, the total amount during the first late-fee count will be Rs. 2,865. The calculation comprises the Rs. 850 late fee, Rs. 1,775 examination fee and Rs. 240 Renewal Registration Fee.
The second late-fee count will be available from September 11 to September 14, 2026.
For candidates with five subjects, the total fee under the second count has been fixed at Rs. 3,940. Candidates with five or more subjects will have to pay Rs. 4,205 during this final late-fee window.
Institutions Required to Complete Checklist Process
JKBOSE has also laid down instructions for affiliated academic institutions after completion of the online service.
Once the online process is completed, institutions are required to generate the Checklist from their respective School Login accounts. The checklist must then be submitted to the concerned Sub/Branch Office after being duly signed and stamped by the Head of the Institution.
The notification states that this submission is to be completed within ten days positively after completion of the online service.
Eligibility of Academic Institutions
The Board has clarified that only those academic institutions that were affiliated with JKBOSE for the Academic Session 2025-26 are eligible to participate in the process of filling the examination and Renewal Registration forms.
Students and Heads of affiliated academic institutions have been advised to approach the concerned Sub/Branch Offices of the Board for queries. They may also send their queries through email at itsskd.jkbose@jk.gov.in.
JKBOSE has further stated that detailed instructions and frequently asked questions will be made available on the official website. Stakeholders have been advised to go through the instructions and FAQs before proceeding with the examination forms.
Fee Exemption for Eligible CWSN Candidates
The notification also contains a specific provision for Children With Special Needs (CWSN) candidates.
Candidates having a benchmark disability of 40 percent or more are exempted from paying the examination and Renewal Registration fee. However, eligible candidates are required to take a printout of the examination form submitted online.
The printout must be attested by the Head of the concerned academic institution and submitted to the relevant Sub/Branch Office of JKBOSE along with a copy of the Disability Certificate issued by the Competent Authority.
No Forms After the Final Deadline
JKBOSE has issued a clear warning regarding the closing dates. According to the notification, no examination form will be entertained after the last date, irrespective of the circumstances.
Students and affiliated institutions should therefore complete the online submission process within the applicable normal-fee or late-fee window and ensure that all required institutional documentation is submitted according to the Board’s instructions.
