The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has released the official Centre Notice for the National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship Scheme (NMMS) Examination 2025–26 for the Jammu Division of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir.
The examination is scheduled to be conducted on 10th July 2026 in two separate sessions across designated examination centres fixed by the Chief Education Officers (District Nodal Officers, NMMS Scheme).

The NMMS examination will be held in two sessions:
- Morning Shift (MAT): 09:30 AM – 11:00 AM
- Evening Shift (SAT): 11:30 AM – 01:00 PM

The National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship Scheme (NMMS) is a centrally sponsored scholarship program aimed at supporting economically weaker but meritorious students studying in Class 8.
