Class 12th Exams Scheduled for July 30 Postponed in J&K and Ladakh Due to Inclement Weather

The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has officially announced the postponement of all Class 12th examinations scheduled for Wednesday, 30th July 2025, in view of the prevailing inclement weather conditions across the Union Territories of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh.
The subjects affected by the postponement include Biology, Statistics, Political Science, and Accountancy. The Board has clarified that this decision has been taken to ensure the safety and well-being of students and staff, as both divisions of J&K and UT of Ladakh are currently witnessing adverse weather conditions, including heavy rainfall and disruptions in transportation.
A JKBOSE official stated, “The safety of students remains our top priority. Due to severe weather warnings and logistical challenges, we have decided to postpone all Class 12th papers scheduled for July 30.”
The Board has assured students and parents that the revised dates for the postponed exams will be notified soon through official channels. Students are advised to stay updated by visiting the official JKBOSE website and monitoring announcements from school authorities.
