JKBOSE Notification: Syllabi & Assessment Scheme Released for Classes 9th to 12th for Academic Session 2024-25
The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has officially released the syllabi and scheme of assessment for classes 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th for the academic session 2024-25. This applies to schools in Kashmir Division, Winter Zone Areas of Jammu Division, and the Union Territory of Ladakh. Additionally, for the Summer Zone Areas of Jammu Division, the same has been released for the academic session 2025-26.
As per the notification (No: F(Acad-C)/E-File-7589099/Syll/IX-XII/25, dated 23-06-2025), the syllabus documents are now available on the official JKBOSE website: www.jkbose.nic.in.
Key Highlights:
- No Change in Most Subjects: The syllabi remain unchanged from previous sessions, except for the Education subject in Class 11th, which now features a newly developed syllabus.
- Exam Guidelines:
- For Kashmir Division, Winter Zone Areas of Jammu & UT of Ladakh, the Annual (Regular) Exams for 2024-25 will be held in November-December 2025.
- For Summer Zone Areas of Jammu Division, the exams for Academic Session 2025-26 will be conducted in February-March 2026.
- All exams will be based on the updated syllabi and scheme of assessment issued by the Board.
Official Directions:
The Board has directed all concerned officials to expedite the printing process and ensure that the syllabi copies are made available to stakeholders at the earliest. The notification has been circulated to Directors, Joint Secretaries, SCERT officials, Education Officers, and school principals for necessary action.
