The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has issued a revised notification changing the cut-off dates for submission of online Permission-cum-Examination forms for students appearing in the Secondary School Examination (Class 10th), Higher Secondary Part-I (Class 11th) and Higher Secondary Part-II (Class 12th) Annual/Regular 2026 examinations.
The revised schedule applies to the October-November 2026 examination session for Kashmir Division and the erstwhile District Kargil of the Union Territory of Ladakh. The notification was issued by the JKBOSE Examination Department, Kashmir Division, from the Board’s Bose Campus at Bemina, Srinagar.
The revised notification, dated September 5, 2026, has been issued in partial modification of earlier notifications dated August 14, 2026. JKBOSE stated that the revised schedule-cum-cut-off dates have been fixed for eligible candidates submitting their forms through online mode on the official JKBOSE website.
JKBOSE Revises Normal-Fee Deadline
According to the notification, the deadline for submission of Permission-cum-Examination forms for Class 10th, Class 11th and Class 12th, along with Renewal Registration Returns for Class 11th and Class 12th, has been revised.
The forms and renewal registration returns can be submitted on payment of the normal prescribed fee applicable per candidate.
The previous cut-off date for this category was September 5, 2026. JKBOSE has now revised the deadline to September 10, 2026.
This change provides eligible candidates covered under the notification with additional time to complete the online submission process for the Annual/Regular 2026 October-November session examinations.
September 14 Deadline With Late Fee
The Board has also revised the deadline for candidates who submit their Permission-cum-Examination forms and applicable Renewal Registration Returns after the normal-fee deadline.
For Class 10th, Class 11th and Class 12th, the forms can be submitted with a late fee of Rs 850, in addition to the normal prescribed fee applicable per candidate.
The earlier cut-off date under the late-fee category was September 10, 2026. As per the revised notification, the new cut-off date has been extended to September 14, 2026.
Therefore, candidates who fall under the applicable category should take note of both revised deadlines: September 10 for submissions with the normal prescribed fee and September 14 for submissions carrying the additional late fee of Rs 850.
Exams Covered Under the Revised Schedule
The revised schedule concerns the Secondary School Examination (Class 10th), Higher Secondary Part-I (Class 11th) and Higher Secondary Part-II (Class 12th) Annual/Regular 2026 examinations.
The notification specifically identifies these examinations as part of the October-November 2026 session for Kashmir Division and the erstwhile District Kargil of UT of Ladakh.
The revised dates relate to the online submission of Permission-cum-Examination forms. For Class 11th and Class 12th, the schedule also covers Renewal Registration Returns.
JKBOSE has directed eligible candidates to use the Board’s official website for the online submission process.
