The University of Kashmir, through the JKSET Agency, has extended the last date for submission of online application forms for JKSET/LASET 2026. The extension has been announced to provide additional time to eligible candidates who were seeking more time to complete the application process.
According to the extension notice issued by the JKSET Agency, the decision follows persistent demands from candidates as well as technical difficulties reportedly faced by some applicants while submitting their online application forms.
The notice was issued under No: F(Extension)JKSET/LASET-26 and is dated September 1, 2026. It informs all concerned candidates about the revised schedule for submitting their applications.
JKSET/LASET 2026 Last Date Extended
As per the revised schedule, the last date for online submission of application forms with a late fee has been extended to September 4, 2026.
The earlier deadline for submission of applications with a late fee was August 30, 2026. Candidates who were unable to complete the application process by the previous deadline have therefore been provided additional time under the extended schedule.
The extension is intended to give eligible applicants adequate opportunity to complete the online application process within the newly notified timeline.
