The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has officially postponed the OMR-based written examinations for the posts of Sanitary Inspector and Junior Ophthalmic Technician under the Health & Medical Education Department. The examinations, originally scheduled for July 8, 2026, will now be held on July 9, 2026 (Thursday).
The Board has clarified that the examination timings, venues, and previously issued admit cards will remain unchanged.

According to the official notice issued by JKSSB, the written examinations advertised under Notification No. 07 of 2025 have been rescheduled as follows:

Candidates appearing for the examinations should:
- Note the revised examination date: 09 July 2026 (Thursday).
- Carry the previously issued admit card.
- Reach the examination centre well before the reporting time.
- Carry a valid photo identity proof along with the admit card.
- Follow all examination guidelines issued by JKSSB.
