JKSSB Recruitment 2025: Apply Online for 61 Home Department Posts
The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has released an official notice inviting applications for 61 posts in the Home Department, as per Advertisement Notification No. 06 of 2025 dated 22nd July 2025. Eligible candidates possessing a valid Domicile Certificate can apply online through the JKSSB portal.
Important Dates
- Start Date to Apply Online: 4th August 2025 (12:00 AM)
- Last Date to Apply Online: 2nd September 2025 (11:59 PM)
- Last Date for Online Fee Payment: 2nd September 2025 (11:59 PM)
Application Process
- Mode of Application: Only online applications are accepted via www.jkssb.nic.in.
- Candidates must register on the portal using the ‘Log-in (Apply on Various Posts)’ tab.
- A valid email ID and mobile number are mandatory for registration and OTP verification.
- Candidates must use the system-generated username for login purposes.
Documents to Upload
- Recent passport size photograph (20 KB to 50 KB, size 4.5 X 3.5 cm, white background).
- Clear signature (10 KB to 20 KB, size 1.5 X 3.5 cm).
- Valid Category Certificate (Max size 100 KB, PDF format).
Fee Payment
- Applications without fee payment will not be considered.
- Fee payment can be made online using Net Banking, Debit Card, UPI, or Credit Card.
- Candidates must ensure the status of fee payment is shown as ‘Submitted’ on the dashboard.
Important Instructions
- No hard copy of the application form is required, except for in-service candidates during Document Verification (DV).
- Fill in all details correctly; the application cannot be edited once submitted.
- Candidates are advised to apply well before the last date to avoid server issues.
