Kashmir University Postpones Entrance Tests Scheduled From July 23 to 26 Due to Inclement Weather
The University of Kashmir has announced the postponement of all entrance tests scheduled to be held from July 23 to July 26, 2026, citing inclement weather conditions in the region.
The Directorate of Admissions & Competitive Examinations (DACE), University of Kashmir, issued an official notice on Friday, July 24, informing aspiring candidates about the decision.
According to the notification, all Kashmir University Entrance Tests scheduled between Thursday, July 23, 2026, and Sunday, July 26, 2026, have been postponed.
“Due to inclement weather conditions, all the Kashmir University Entrance Test scheduled from 23-07-2026 (Thursday) to 26-07-2026 (Sunday) have been postponed,” the official notice states.
Fresh Exam Dates to Be Announced Separately
The University has clarified that the revised dates for the postponed entrance examinations will be notified separately. Candidates should therefore wait for a fresh schedule from the University.
Students appearing in the affected entrance examinations are advised to regularly check official University of Kashmir notifications for further updates regarding the revised examination dates.
