KPDCL Announces Scheduled Power Shutdowns Across Kashmir From June 2 to June 13
Srinagar, June 01: The Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL) has announced a series of scheduled power shutdowns across various parts of Kashmir from June 2 to June 13, 2026, to carry out maintenance and allied works on several 33 KV transmission lines.
According to the Chief Engineer, Distribution, KPDCL, the shutdowns will affect multiple areas in Srinagar, Budgam, Anantnag and other districts during the specified dates and timings.
As per the schedule, the shutdown of the 33 KV Rawalpora-Baghimehtab-Budshah Nagar line will affect power supply to Bagh-i-Mehtab, Gopalpora, Mochuwa, Kralpora and adjoining areas from 09:00 AM to 03:00 PM on June 02, 2026.
Similarly, the shutdown of the 33 KV Mattan Achabal line will impact Achabal, Army Camp Khundroo, Shangus, Nowgam, Kotheir, Andoo, Utterusoo, Chittergul, Cherapora, Sonach and adjoining areas from 09:00 AM to 03:30 PM on June 02.
The shutdown of the 33 KV Shamsipora Tap Line will affect Shamsipora, Sudsanoo, Turka Tachloo and adjoining areas from 10:00 AM to 03:00 PM on June 02.
Likewise, the shutdown of the 33 KV Mattan-Pahalgam line will disrupt electricity supply to District Jail Anantnag, Seer, Salia, Sallar, Aishmuqam, Batkoot, Pahalgam and adjoining areas from 09:00 AM to 03:00 PM on June 02, 04, 06 and 08.
KPDCL also stated that the shutdown of the 33 KV Wanpow-Ashajipora/Malaknag Double Circuit Line will affect Ashajipora, Dialgam, Rohu, Mir Bazar, Schichen, Brinty, Malaknag, Reshi Bazar, Janglatmandi, Shirpora, BB Nowgam, Thajiwara, Brakpora and adjoining areas from 09:00 AM to 03:00 PM on June 02.
Similarly, the shutdown of the 33 KV Brenwar Tapline will impact Brenwar, Surasyar, Raithan, Watred and adjoining areas from 09:00 AM to 03:00 PM on June 02 and 04.
On June 03, the shutdown of the 33 KV Rawalpora Chanapora line and 33 KV Pampore-Lasjan Tapline will affect Chanapora, Lalnagar, Nowgam, Natipora, Badshahnagar, Lasjan, Lasjan Bypass, Bus Charging Station and adjoining areas from 09:00 AM to 03:00 PM.
Similarly, the shutdown of the 33 KV Magam-Kongamdara line will affect Kunzer, Kralweth, Mangloor, Ogmuna, Hardbani, Chichiloora, Dhobiwan, Wassan, Hardabora, Tarhama, Agar, Khore, Goom, Ahmadpora and adjoining areas from 09:00 AM to 03:00 PM on June 03 and 09.
On June 04, the shutdown of the 33 KV Bemina JVC line and 33 KV Bemina I & II line will affect JVC Hospital, Children Hospital, State Motor Garage, Hajj House, Forensic Lab, PC Depot, Qammerwari, Baranpather, Hamdania Colony, HIG/MIG Colony, Nund Resh Colony, Hamza Colony, Gousia Colony, Sir Syed Abad, Chattabal, SK Colony, Taushedabad Bemina, Court Complex, Mandi and adjoining areas from 09:00 AM to 03:00 PM.
Additionally, the shutdown of the 33 KV Bemina-KP Bagh line, Rakhiarth will affect Rakhi-Arth, Sebdan and adjoining areas during the same hours on June 04.
On June 05, the shutdown of the 33 KV Sanoor Tapline will affect Sanoor, Malpora, Radbugh, Railway Station and adjoining areas from 09:00 AM to 03:00 PM.
Similarly, the shutdown of the 33 KV Shariefabad Wadwan line will impact Shariefabad, Durba, Hanjik, Soibugh, Haran, Bonpora, Astanpora, Wadwan, Hanjikpora, Dharmuna, Russu, Gotpora, Pymus and adjoining areas from 09:00 AM to 03:00 PM on June 05 and 08.
On June 06, the shutdown of the 33 KV Bemina Exhibition line will affect Hamdania Colony, Nundresh Colony, Iqbalabad, Tawheedabad, Sir Syed Abad, Bemina Court Complex and adjoining areas from 09:00 AM to 03:00 PM.
On June 07, the shutdown of the 33 KV Shariefabad HMT Line and 33 KV HMT Narbal line will affect Narbal, Mazhama, Sanoor, Malpora, Kawoosa, Sozeith, Lawaypora, Zainakote, ICCC, Industrial HMT, Shalteng, Mujgund, Bakshipora and adjoining areas from 09:00 AM to 03:00 PM.
Similarly, the shutdown of the 33 KV Shariefabad Narbal line will affect Narbal, Kawoosa, Lawaypora, Sozeith, Sanoor, Malpora, Radbugh, Railway Station Mazhama and adjoining areas during the same timing.
KPDCL further stated that the shutdown of the 33 KV GIS Tengpora Exhibition (Tapline) Cargo Portion will impact HSHS Market, Batamaloo, PCR Batamaloo, Firdousabad, Sarai Bala and adjoining areas from 09:00 AM to 03:00 PM on June 07.
Likewise, the shutdown of the 33 KV GIS Khanyar-BAMK line will affect Gilli Kadal, Raja Colony, Zadibal, Hawal, Industrial Estates BAMK and adjoining areas from 09:00 AM to 03:00 PM on June 07.
On June 09, the shutdown of the 33 KV SH Pora and Kawdara lines will affect MR Gunj, Nawa Bazar, Mughal Masjid, Zadibal, Sazgaripora, Nowhatta, Jamia Masjid, Rajouri Kadal, Gojwara, Nawakadal, Shreen Bagh, Narwara and adjoining areas from 09:00 AM to 03:00 PM.
Similarly, the shutdown of the 33 KV Safakadal line will impact Safakadal, Wanganpora, Saidpora, Noorbagh, Chaidoab, Baghwanpora, Eidgah and adjoining areas from 10:00 AM to 03:30 PM.
On June 13, the shutdown of the 33 KV Bemina Karan Nagar line will affect Chatabal, Balgarden, Zaldagar, Police Lines, Civil Secretariat, SMHS Hospital, Gole Market, Guru Bazar, Tankipora, Shaheed Gunj and adjoining areas from 09:00 AM to 03:00 PM.
KPDCL has advised consumers in the affected areas to make necessary arrangements during the shutdown period.
