NEET UG Result 2026 Declared: 11.21 Lakh Candidates Qualify, Scorecards Available at neet.nta.nic.in
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially declared the NEET UG Result 2026 on July 16, 2026. The results have been announced on schedule to ensure that the counselling and admission process for MBBS, BDS, AYUSH, B.Sc. Nursing, BVSc & AH, and other allied medical courses begins without delay.
Candidates who appeared for the examination can now download their scorecards from the official website neet.nta.nic.in.

Over 11.21 Lakh Candidates Qualify
Around 20 lakh candidates appeared for NEET UG 2026, making it one of the largest entrance examinations in the country. Out of them, 11.21 lakh candidates have qualified for admission to undergraduate medical, dental, AYUSH, and allied health science programmes.

Women Outperform Men
One of the major highlights of this year’s examination is the outstanding performance of female candidates.
- More than 58% of all qualified candidates are women.
- 56.8% of women who appeared qualified.
- 55.1% of men who appeared qualified.

A total of 138 candidates scored above 690 marks out of 720.
Among them:
- Over 93% were first-time NEET aspirants
- Nearly 99% are between 17 and 19 years of age

The highest score of 715 out of 720 was jointly secured by:

NEET UG 2026 Counselling
Following the declaration of results, the counselling process will begin shortly.
- MCC will conduct counselling for the 15% All India Quota MBBS/BDS seats.
