SKUAST-K Notice: Cancellation of Tentative Examination Dates for Assistant Comptroller and Assistant Registrar Posts
Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Kashmir (SKUAST-K) has issued an important notification regarding the recruitment process for the posts of Assistant Comptroller and Assistant Registrar.
As per the notice (No. AU/CoE/R-5(AR/AC)/2025/1190-1205 dated 03.09.2025), the previously notified tentative examination dates for these posts have been cancelled/deferred.
Reason for Cancellation
The Controller of Examinations, SKUAST-K, stated that several candidates had submitted representations highlighting that the examination dates for Assistant Comptroller and Assistant Registrar clashed with the Jammu & Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) examinations scheduled on the same dates.
To ensure fairness and equal opportunity for all aspirants, the university has decided to cancel the earlier announced examination dates.
Fresh Schedule
The university will announce a new examination schedule separately in due course of time. Candidates are advised to remain in constant touch with the official website of SKUAST-K for further updates.
Official Statement
In the notice dated 08.09.2025 (Ref: No. AU/CoE/R-5(AR/AC)/2025/1206-1219), Prof. (Dr.) K. N. Qaisar, Controller of Examinations, confirmed the decision and emphasized that candidates should regularly check the university portal for the latest announcements.
