The Cluster University of Srinagar has issued an advertisement inviting applications for the engagement of a Field Investigator under an ICSSR Major Research Project (2025–26). The recruitment is being undertaken by the University’s Department of English for a research project titled “The Role of Shabd India as a Digital Humanities Initiative for Exploration, Documentation and Integration: A Study of Kashmiri Folk Literature.”

Field Investigator Vacancy and Remuneration

Educational Qualification

The Field Investigator engagement will not confer any claim for regularisation or absorption in the University or any other institution.
The salary component is also subject to the release of funds by the funding agency. Candidates appearing for the interview will not be provided TA/DA.
The terms and conditions governing the service will be according to the rules and regulations of the University and/or the funding agency, wherever applicable, including amendments made from time to time.
