🎓 Eligibility Criteria

As per the Teachers Eligibility Qualifications in Medical Institutions Regulations, 2022, candidates must meet the following academic qualifications:

For Medical Candidates:

• MD/MS/DNB/DM/M.Ch/DrNB in the relevant specialty from a National Medical Commission (NMC) recognized institution.

For Non-Medical Candidates (Biochemistry only):

• M.Sc (Medical Biochemistry) with Ph.D. in Medical Biochemistry from UGC-recognized institutions.

Note: Candidates who have appeared in the final examinations of their postgraduate/postdoctoral courses in the relevant disciplines are also eligible to apply.

💼 Appointment & Tenure Details

• The appointments will be made for one year initially, extendable up to a maximum of three years based on satisfactory performance.
• Selection shall be made solely on the basis of a written test (MCQ-based), as per Government Order No. 383-JK (HME) of 2024 dated 20-06-2024.
• The recruitment is categorized into:
  • In-Service Candidates: Must submit NOC from the parent department; paid as per Last Pay Certificate (LPC).
  • Not In-Service Candidates: Engaged under S.O. 364 of 2020; paid stipend accordingly.

• Broad Specialties: Upper age limit is 45 years.
• Preclinical/Paraclinical Subjects (Anatomy, Biochemistry, etc.): Upper age limit is 50 years.

❗ Other Key Terms & Conditions

• Incomplete applications, or those without required documents, will be summarily rejected.
• Application form details cannot be edited after submission.
• Only one post per application form – candidates applying to multiple disciplines must submit separate forms and pay separate fees.
