The State Bank of India (SBI) is closing the registration process for the Clerk (Junior Associate – Customer Support & Sales) Recruitment 2025 today, August 26, 2025. Candidates who are yet to apply must complete the process at the official website – sbi.co.in.
Vacancy Details
SBI has announced 6,589 vacancies, including both regular and backlog posts, for the Clerk cadre across the country.
Eligibility Criteria
- Age Limit: Candidates must be 20 to 28 years old as on April 1, 2025. Applicants should be born between April 2, 1997, and April 1, 2005. Relaxations apply to reserved categories.
- Educational Qualification: Graduation in any discipline is mandatory. Final-year students can also apply but must submit proof of degree by December 31, 2025. Candidates pursuing integrated dual degrees are eligible if their course is completed by the same deadline.
Selection Process
The recruitment process will include three stages:
- Preliminary Exam: Objective type, 100 marks, 60 minutes.
- Main Exam: 190 questions, 200 marks, 2 hours 40 minutes.
- Language Test: Candidates who have not studied the specified local language in Class 10 or 12 must clear the Local Language Proficiency Test (LLPT) before final appointment.
